I’m pleased to announced that Fossil Island was recently awarded this prize from the Historical Novel Society at their conference in Oxford, U.K. They’re a great organization and one of best places to hear about new and upcoming novels with historical themes. Their next conference will be in June of 2017 in Portland, Oregon. Since that’s a little closer to my home in the Pacific Northwest, I’ll definitely be there.
